Day-Ahead Economic Optimal Dispatch of Microgrid Cluster Considering Shared Energy Storage System and P2P Transaction

With the increasing popularity of renewable energy, energy storage systems (ESSs) have now been used as an essential way to reduce bills and mitigate impact uncertainty generators on network. However, high investment cost ESS limits its application. This article proposes concept shared (Shared-ESS) for microgrid owner/operator applies it economic optimal dispatch a cluster. In addition storage, microgrids can achieve peer-to-peer (P2P) transaction among each other with use Shared-ESS, which significantly improves utilization efficiency. The numerical analysis shows that Shared-ESS owner/operator, shift usage during peak time, facilitate consumption.
